Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

Please make sure before submitting that your manuscript is suitable with the journal template of Jurnal Agroteknologi (J-AGT).  The manuscript must be written in correct English for the title and abstract and a clear statement using English or Bahasa Indonesia for the other contents. The manuscript should arrange in the following order:  title, abstract, introduction, method, result and discussion with figures or tables, conclusion, acknowledgments (if necessary), and references.

 

MANUSCRIPT is written on A4 paper size, in a double-column, single space (1 space), times new roman font and 12 pt, also written in Bahasa Indonesia, except abstract. The margin is around 2.5 cm from the top, bottom, left, and right as same as the article template.  THE TITLE should be written clearly and using informative sentences, preferably not more than 18 words using Bahasa Indonesia and English. The name and institution of the authors must be written completely, and the author for correspondence along with email address. ABSTRACT and KEYWORDS must be written in English, use times new roman font 11 pt. The abstract contains the background, aims, methods, the results of research, and the conclusion, written in brief sentences using the past tense.  Keywords are mentioned sequentially in alphabetical order. It isn’t more than 7 words. INTRODUCTION covers detailed literature on the survey and the result of the research, novel approaches, insights into the problem addressed, and the aims of the research. It’s written in Bahasa Indonesia with times new roman font and 12 pt. METHOD should contain materials, procedures, and data analysis with clear references. RESULT and DISCUSSION must write in Bahasa Indonesia with a clear statement and comparative study with primer and secondary references. The sentences use 12 pt in time new roman font. Tables and figures showed with the edited graphic or chart (not print-screen), no color of the figures, and used 10 pt in times new roman font. CONCLUSION should be written as a paragraph (maximum 2 paragraphs) and answered from the aims of the research. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS must be written, if necessary, with clear funding sources and their year. REFERENCES should be written in American Psychological Association (APA) style and times new roman font 11 pt. It is listed in alphabetic order and contains books, journal articles (followed by DOI), websites, or the research result. The last name of each author should be written in the first sentence, followed by the initial name.
